Milton Keynes Interfaith

Past events

Sometimes, there are presentations made at our meetings which members and others might find interesting to look at again, or to look at for the first time if they missed that particular meeting. The following are notes relating to some past events:

In March 2010, Rev. Paul Smith talked about the study he had carried out on the Luke-Acts story from the New Testament, under the heading "God has no favourites". Click here to read his notes God has no favourites (pdf, 107 K)

In April 2010, Zvi Friedman talked about his own experience and understanding of the Jewish festival of Pesakh (or Passover as it is known to Christians). Click here to read the notes on his presentation Pesakh2 (pdf, 48 K), but please be warned, it does contain a Jewish joke.

In September 2010, Steve Barnes stepped down as Convenor of IFMK, after a period of three years great activity. To read his final convenor's report, click here Convenor Report (pdf, 44 K)

In November 2010, as a lead-in to National Interfaith Week, an Interfaith Walk for Peace and Harmony was held, starting from the synagogue in Giffard Park and finishing at Granby Mosque. For a fuller account fo the walk, click here Interfaith Walk 2010 (pdf, 242 K)
